“The Comfort Cart”
Outreach Ministry at Betsy Johnson Hospital
Debbie Dean and Donna West, both members of Erwin UMC, regularly visit patients from floor to floor at our local hospital to offer encouragement, prayer, a church bulletin, and an item from the Comfort Cart such as prayer shawls, Bibles, and books for adults…and baby blankets, coloring books, and crayons for children.
All items for the Comfort Cart come from generous donations from churches, hospital staff, former patients, visitors, and family members. Therefore, we need your ongoing help to continue this outreach ministry as we seek to be the hands, feet, and words of Jesus to those recovering from illnesses and injuries.
We give thanks that Donna and Debbie have been called to this important ministry of care for the BJH patients.
